A service organization, not the owner of the architecture.
Local Internet Group works across strategy, technology, creative services, media, publishing, Business Record management and emerging AI applications. Its role is to help businesses and organizations actually use the shared local information infrastructure — owned by Local Internet Holdings and explored by Local Internet Labs.
Mission
Make shared local information infrastructure usable: help a business establish one authoritative Business Record and turn it into managed presence, governed publication and measurable visibility.
Operating role
The Group serves. It delivers strategy, technology, Business Record management, visibility, publishing, media and creative work on top of infrastructure owned by Local Internet Holdings and developed with Local Internet Labs.
Current stage
Parts of the model are operational today — records, claim workflows, governed changes, publication relationships and consumer discovery. Other services are developing or in pilot, and we label them that way.
Long-term objective
A responsibly connected local internet: authoritative business records, clear geographic structure, useful local information and machine-readable data that serves customers, search engines and AI agents alike.
